Groovaroo Babywearing & Family Dance Class

Rooted in soul line dancing, this low impact dance class is fun, engaging, and focused on community building! Connect you, your baby, family, and friends together!

2 Trial Classes at Recess coming up - Friday 2/9 at 2:30pm & Saturday 2/10 at 10:30am

Infants must be worn forward facing in. Toddlers can be back carried.

Perfect for: pregnant women, new parents, grandparents, siblings (please use your best judgment based on sibling e.g. age whether an additional adult is needed).

SF trial pricing:  $14 member family /$18 nonmember family (regular price $18 members/$24 non members). Pricing is for the whole family! partners and siblings encouraged to attend!

Please wear comfortable shoes and bring water and a baby carrier: Stretchy wrap (Moby Mei Tei) or soft structured carrier (Ergo, Tula). No Ring Slings please.

About Anthea Yugawa, Instructor:  I am passionate about dancing and enjoy music from various genres. I was inspired to become a certified GroovaRooTM  teacher after having my daughter in June 2015. This is a perfect way to blend my enthusiasm for dancing while connecting with my daughter and other parents and families. I am CPR certified and have my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.

We scoop up an eggless dairy ice cream as well as vegan options, all made from scratch and pasteurized in house. Stay after class for a Family Happy Hour in the Recess playspace! Stay energized and hydrated with Bare Snacks and Purely Drinks.

• Class 10:30-11:20

• Bare Snacks 10am - 12pm. Bare Snacks will be on-site with samples of their coconut, banana, fuji apple, & cinnamon apple chips. 

• Purely Drinks 10am - 1pm. Purely Drinks will have a pop-up shop to sample and vend their all-natural drinking vinegar/shrub infused with fresh fruit and organic ingredients.
