Local mama and preschool teacher, Regina, will be be bringing this awesome activity to the space on Tuesdays at 11am.

About the leader:

Hi Everyone! My name is Regina Elaine Delacruz and I am so excited to be part of the Recess community! A little about myself: I have my bachelor’s degree in Child Development from San Diego State University and I’ve been teaching in the field of early childhood education for 10 years now!.I’ve worked with children from infants up to age 5 and just recently decided to stay home with my 21 month old son, Miles. I live with my husband and son in the Richmond District and although we’re both from San Diego, we love calling San Francisco home. I look forward to meeting you all and reading stories and singing songs with your little ones! 

Spring Fest Fundraiser at Recess Collective

Our first annual fundraiser is shaping up to be an awesome afternoon of family fun.

Join us on Saturday, May 4, 2019, from 1-5pm.

Tickets include an afternoon with live music, face painting, play, food & drink and a raffle.

Proceeds will go toward offering subsidized memberships to families in need, enhancing the playspace with additional interactive exhibits, and bringing in local artists and musicians.

• The Schedule!
  - Local musician, Charity Kahn, will play from 3:30-415.
  - Miss Nicki will be doing face painting 2-4:30pm
  - Pumpspotting will be on site with their 40 foot RV featuring breastfeeding amenities
  - The Playspace will be open for free play,
  and
  - Art activities and sensory play available throughout the afternoon.

• Raffle!
  Enter for your chance to win prizes from local businesses & restaurants, such as Messy Art Lab, Gift Certificate to Monkei Miles, Tunnel Records prize pack, a weekend in Sea Ranch.

• Food and drink will also be available from our neighborhood local businesses!

Do you like to Jam?  Are you ready to party?  

Join award-winning family musician Charity Kahn for a highly interactive, joyful, playful and unique music class that will inspire your children (and you!) to sing, dance, stretch, breathe and imagine.  The JAMboodas Family Dance Party takes place one each month and is appropriate for all ages.

These dance parties provide a fun and social way to check out the JAMboodas vibe. We are incredibly lucky to get to share Charity's music with the Recess Community each month.  Charity has written all of the songs she performs and has an incredible library of music to share with families. Her tunes range from upbeat, rocking out, dancing, singing at the top of your lungs songs to winding down, chilling out, tucking in, singing in sweet harmonies.  For reviews and more info and to listen, go here.
