Recess operates out of San Francisco, CA. We specialize in designing spaces to promote child-directed play, facilitate parent & caregiver connection, and creating places for community to gather.

When children are free to explore in a developmentally appropriate space, caregivers can take a breath and relax. In those moments, the organic opportunities to commiserate, share resources or just give a knowing glance help us feel less isolated in the role of raising a young child.

Through this dynamic, we support the health and well-being of families with young children.
