Recess Collective builds inclusive community-centered spaces committed to supporting families from the time of pregnancy through the first four years by providing opportunities for perinatal education, play, creativity, support & connection.

We provide access to high quality information to support child development, holistic parent support, and community.

We arm parents with the tools to raise good people.

Provide parents & caregivers with safe space(s) to gather, receive support and combat isolation. Healthy families make healthy babies.

CREATE OPPORTUNITIES FOR EARLY CHILD DEVELOPMENT

We create environments for children to develop healthy brains and bodies.

Play is crucial to healthy brain and physical development. We see play through a neurodiverse lens and welcome children of all abilities.

Recess Partners with other community organizations to connect vetted experts with parents, work with seniors to build multi-generational volunteer opportunities, and leverage collaboration to build a true web of support amongst families.

We will keep creating spaces for families to gather until every neighborhood has a place dedicated to resourcing young children & their caregivers.

We raise funds to create new spaces, build partnerships and bring community hubs to more neighborhoods.
